Fly into the Denver International Airport (DIA). Cherry Creek is about a 30 minute drive or Uber ride from the airport.
We recommend hanging out between Fourth Ave and First Ave as depicted above. Both the Clio and the Moxy are in this section of Cherry Creek. Once you are in this area, you do not need a car.

We love being outside as much as possible when in Colorado! Go early to beat the heat. If you're looking for a place to run, walk, or hike, here are some of our favorite places:
The Cherry Creek Trail
You can catch this trail pretty easily from the hotels.

Washington Park
The best place for a coffee & a morning walk. One loop is about 2.5 miles.

Red Rocks
This is a bit more of a drive and is actually near our venue. Red Rocks is a great place for a morning workout! It is open to the public in the mornings.

There might be a Yoga on the Rocks class in the morning during your visit.

Many of you are making a trip out of our summer wedding date, and we are so excited to hear that! Colorado in the summer is incredible. Here are some places to visit before or after our wedding:
Sko Buffs!!! We met at CU Boulder and this is one of our favorite places in the world. Boulder in the summer is unbelievable. Visit the campus, see the flatirons, walk on Pearl Street and The Hill, and enjoy the Boulder Creek Trail & Wonderland Lake Trail. This is an easy day trip from Denver.
Another one of our favorite places. We love staying at the Lion Square Lodge in Lionshead. Explore Lionshead and Vail, hike up Berry Picker Trail, eat lunch at Garfinkel's, get an Aperol Spritz at Pepi's, and eat dinner at Sweet Basil. The Vail Farmer's Market runs on the weekends from June to October. Walk or bike along the Gore Creek Trail and if you're looking for adventure, drive to Upper Piney Lake. Vail is about a 2 hour drive from Denver.
Rent a kayak or paddle board at the Dillon Reservoir, explore Main Street in both Frisco and Breckenridge, and take one of the many hiking trails surrounding the towns. About a 1.5 hour drive from Denver.
Steamboat is not on the main I-70 highway, but that's what has allowed it to keep it authentic Colorado mountain town charm. Hike, bike, and stroll through the shops on the Yampa River. There is also a Steamboat Springs Farmer's Market on the weekends.
If you are staying in the mountains for a few days, we highly recommend driving through Independence Pass. This road is only open in the summer months and takes you from Leadville (behind Vail) to Aspen. It is one of the most beautiful drives in America! You will see the Continental Divide, likely some snow, the back of Maroon Bells, Twin Lakes, and wildlife. This is a high-altitude drive and takes about 1 - 1.5 hours from start to finish.
